Personal Liability Company - INC Registration




A Personal Liability Company (INC), similar to the Private Company (Pty) Ltd, is also registered for the purpose of financial gain.
This type of entity however is specifically suited to professionals such as doctors;lawyers; auditors etc. for the purpose of registering a practice. We will thus require proof of registration with a prefessional body such as SAICA, HPCSA etc.
The company operates on the principle of persoanl liability, which means that the directors of the company and any prevous directors are jointly and severally liable for the debts of the company.
To register an INC, a minimum of 1 director is required. Each director will also automatically be apointed as an incorporator.
Harvest uses the standard long form (COR15.1B) for the registration of INC's.
